For this new construction home in Andover, Just Right Services designed and installed a large-scale snow melt system to eliminate the challenges of snow buildup across an expansive 14,000 square foot driveway and walkway.

With no practical space to relocate snow during winter storms, the homeowner wanted a solution that would maintain the clean appearance of the property while avoiding large, unsightly snow piles. A fully integrated hydronic snow melt system was installed beneath the surface, allowing the driveway and walkways to remain clear automatically throughout the winter months.

The system was built using Crete-Heat insulation and Viega tubing to ensure efficient heat transfer, durability, and long-term performance. Spanning six zones, the layout was carefully engineered to provide even coverage across the entire driveway and surrounding walkways. The system is controlled via a manual switch located in the basement, giving the homeowner full control over operation during snow events.
